Mitt Romney’s Iowa Strategy

Winning the GOP presidential nomination is all about capturing lightening in a bottle, and it is never wise to publicly downplay the importance of a nominating contest, particularly the first one out of the chute (Iowa). But Mitt Romney’s strategy is clear: secure New Hampshire and Nevada, while trying to persuade as many primary voters as possible in other nominating contests.

If Rick Perry is unable to shake Michele Bachmann, we could see Team Romney putting a greater emphasis on the Hawkeye State in the very near future.
