Ford O'Connell at Politico's Arena: 'Are Campaign Cuts The Beginning Of The End For Gingrich?'

Give the former House Speaker credit for improving the debate skills of the rest of the GOP field, challenging President Obama’s highly questionable energy policies and pushing back on the media's attempt to push the campaign narrative into trivial issues.

With his campaign operation essentially shutting down, Gingrich's "Big-Choice Convention" strategy suffers from a fatal flaw - he brings no more momentum, money or organization to Tampa than any of the other "white knights" that could be pulled from the hat.

That the GOP's 2012 nominating process permits Newt Gingrich to "stay in the race" when he is mathematically eliminated speaks volumes about the dysfunctional nature of this year's delegate selection process.
