2012 Electoral Map Projection - July 2011 Update

The Political Quarterback's 2012 Electoral College scorecard is showing a small shift away from President Barack Obama, with the addition of Pennsylvania to the "toss-up" column. The increasing uncertainty of the race is driven primarily by continuing consumer concern with jobs, the long-term economic outlook and rising gas prices. Notes: Nebraska and Maine are being treated as “winner-take-all” states, NOT as states that distribute their electoral votes by the Congressional District Method.
