GOP Delegate Math Growing Bleak For Romney

While Mitt Romney may have the clearest path to the magical 1,144 delegates needed to sew up the GOP nomination, some experts are now imagining another scenario — one where neither Romney, Rick Santorum, or Newt Gingrich feel the magic.

"If Romney cannot accumulate the magic number of delegates for the nomination, it’s possible that none of the candidates will get there before their national convention,” Obama's delegate counter, Jeff Berman, acknowledged to Buzzfeed.

GOP strategist Ford O'Connell, from the McCain-Palin campaign, told The Hill that "The biggest stumbling block for Romney is that he's using an atomic bomb to kill an ant, and Santorum just isn't going away."
